SmugMug > keywords > ohio > Illusions. Watching the water flow over the dam, I was struck by how the reflections of trees on the river bank seemed to be pulled into curved shapes by the motion of the water. Of course that is physical nonsense. The surface of the water itself is curved, which creates the visual effect. But I like the illusion better than the reality in this case.
SmugMug > keywords > ohio > It's amazing how many textures, shapes, appearances water can assume. It was the contrast between glassy reflectivity and roiling boiling foaminess that interested me here. The water before going over the dam, and the water at the bottom of the fall.
