These little tree weeds are actually growing alongside the edge of an old cart path that cuts out across the water and connects the mainland to a little island. I have yet to find out why it was built. It's quite long and the island is uselessly small and hilly. It makes for a very nice hike, though! I have zoomed in at about 600mm across the water from where I was I stationed. It was beautiful there, once again!
I decided to put up a gallery of some of the photos I took just yesterday, all in Lakeville, all in one morning! I love fall! Have I mentioned that before? Here's the link. It's worth the trip~~http://hocusfocusd70.smugmug.com/Nature/One-Fine-Morning/10045410_Ypwza#688368568_EXQU2

A short respite from my Yellowstone photos. This was shot at the Mormon Row Historic District near Jackson, Wyoming.
SmugMug > popular all-time > 17 Roses for 17 Years!!

Today was my anniversary, so my sweet husband sent me roses! He gets mad at me because I don't like getting flowers...I told him that these roses could've been that big new birdfeeder I want!

I continue my march through my "safety shots," returning to places and things I have photographed before but never posted as my photo of the day. And since I love windows and peeling paint, this shuttered window at the Greenwich Historical Society fit the bill perfectly.
